NCRC To host a Halloween Haunted Hay Ride
DEXTER - North Country Riding Club of Dexter is hosting it's 2nd Annual Haunted Hay Ride on October 19, 2002. This year, the tractor drawn hay wagon rides, will be held at Bud Ellms Field, NCRC Showgrounds, on Zions Hill Road in Dexter. The rides will start at 6:30 p.m. and will continue until approximately 9:30 p.m.

The 27 plus NCRC volunteers have worked weeks putting together a great "Spooky" woods trail set for part of the ride, which is guaranteed to scare your socks off! In addition to the "spooky" hay ride experience, there will be Free Candy and a Spook House for those daring to enter!!

Last year, despite rain and fog, the Haunted Hay Ride drew in over 250 people. The Halloween event is open to all ages, but is suggested for children 12 yrs. (with adult supervision) and over and costs only $5.00 per person with proceeds to benefit other events that NCRC sponsors. There is plenty of free parking and great fun for the whole family rain or shine. The Haunted Hay Ride is a RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK event.
